Pastor Trevor has put a video message on this website entitled “There is no fear in love.” As we hear the news about the Coronavirus continuing to spread, it is easy to focus on the “pandemic” and get tangled up by fear. But, as Pastor Trevor mentioned, I John 4:18 says that “perfect love drives out fear.” Our love for God can calm any fear we might have about the happenings in our current world

Through the past couple of weeks, I have been hit on a number of sides, from readings and a couple of TV pastors I watch (most recently this morning while watching “PowerPoint” with Pastor Jack Graham), with the words from Psalm 91:1-4:

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.’ Surely He will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and buckler."

The word pestilence means plague, virus, and pandemic. God will save us from this pandemic! Let us take time during our “exile” to look to the LORD, to seek His face, and pray.
